DESU solid polycarbonate sheet is an ideal alternative to glass. It is only half weight of glass with the same thickness, but 30 times stronger than tempered glass. It has high light transmittance, good weatherability and high impact resistance. It is an ideal solution for a wide range of uses such as carports, canopies, riot shields and noise barriers. Features

1. It’s light weight. The density of PC is 1.2g/m2. The PC solid sheet is light and 1/2 the weight of glass of the same thickness. Using it cannot only reduce the construction cost but also save the labor.

2. It is easy to install. It can be drilled and bent without breaking when installation.

3. It has high light transmittance. The transmittance of PC solid sheet reaches up to 92%, suitable for glazing roofing an skylight.

4. It has high impact resistance. The impact resistance of PC solid sheet is 300 times that of common glass and 30 times that of acrylic sheet in the same thickness. Therefore, as a roof lighting material, it can withstand severe weather such as hail, snow and freezing.

5. It has a wide range of temperature resistance, -40℃to 120℃.

6. It is nonflammable. The flame retardant level is V0 in compliance with UL-94. No molten drop or toxic gas.

7. It has excellent sound insulation. With the same thickness, the sound insulation of the PC solid sheet is 3-4db better than that of glass.

8. It is easily shaped. It can be hot bent or cold bent into different shapes.
